Experienced symptoms
You are experiencing a Power-On-Self-Test (POST) failure if your computer powers on but does not display the computer manufacturer’s logo, issues a beep/blink code, lights a POST indicator LED, or displays an error message without displaying the operating system’s welcome screen.
Need for professional help
There are several possible causes for POST failures, and they all involve inoperable hardware components required to boot the computer. In most cases, special knowledge and/or tools will be required to diagnose and correct the problem. In almost all cases, we will have to do an extensive diagnosis to determine the cause.
